The EU has increased the maximum residue levels (MRLs) for pendimethalin in leeks, beans and peas.

What is changing?
The MRLs for pendimethalin in leeks, beans (with pods) and peas (with pods) are increased as set out in Table 1.
Why?
Following an application for modification of the MRLs for pendimethalin on peas, beans and leeks, EFSA (2023) has not identified a consumer health risk for these MRLs. Therefore the new MRLs have been accepted by the Commission.
Timeline
The new MRLs apply from 20 June 2023.
