The EU has increased the maximum residue level (MRL) for pyridate on chives to 1.5 mg/kg.

What is changing?
The MRL for pyridate on chives increases from 0.05 to 1.5 mg/kg.
Why?
Following a request for modification of the MRL for pyridate on chives, and the determination of safe levels for consumers by EFSA (2022), the EU has accepted the proposed MRL.
Timeline
The new MRL for pyridate on chives will apply from 13 April 2023.
