The EU has published a Regulation increasing the maximum residue level (MRL) for sedaxane on potatoes.

What is changing?
The EU has increased the MRL for sedaxane on potatoes from 0.02 to 0.15 mg/kg.
Why?
In response to an application requesting modification of the existing MRL for sedaxane on potatoes, EFSA (2022) concluded that the requested modification was acceptable with regard to consumer safety.
Timeline
The new MRL will apply from 26 February 2023.
