171 notifications concernant des produits alimentaires provenant de 34 pays partenaires d’AGRINFO (tableau 1).
Produits destinés à l'alimentation animale
Sept notifications concernant des aliments pour animaux entrant dans l’UE, en provenance de Chine, d’Inde, de Malaisie, du Paraguay et d’Ukraine (tableau 2).
Matériaux en contact avec les denrées alimentaires
Deux notifications concernant des matériaux en contact avec les denrées alimentaires, provenant de Chine et de Turquie (tableau 3).

quelles sont les principales implications pour les pays exportateurs ?
Les notifications RASFF peuvent avoir des conséquences importantes pour les producteurs et les exportateurs. Les produits alimentaires faisant l’objet d’une notification peuvent devoir être retirés du marché ou détruits afin d’empêcher leur vente et leur consommation. Cela peut entraîner des pertes financières pour les producteurs, les exportateurs et les autres acteurs de la chaîne d’approvisionnement. De plus, si plusieurs interceptions sont constatées en raison d’une contamination – par des mycotoxines, notamment des aflatoxines, des résidus de pesticides, du pentachlorophénol et des dioxines, une contamination microbiologique, des colorants du Soudan, de la rhodamine B et des toxines végétales –, celles-ci peuvent entraîner un renforcement des contrôles et d’autres mesures. Actions recommandées
Afin de réduire au minimum les notifications RASFF et de garantir le bon déroulement des échanges commerciaux avec le marché de l’UE, les producteurs et exportateurs des pays tiers doivent prendre des mesures pour garantir la sécurité de leurs produits. Cela implique la mise en œuvre de mesures de contrôle rigoureuses à chaque étape de la production, de la transformation et du conditionnement afin de garantir le respect des normes et réglementations de l’UE ; la mise en place de systèmes complets de gestion de la sécurité alimentaire (tels que l’analyse des risques et la maîtrise des points critiques – HACCP) afin d’identifier et de traiter les risques potentiels tout au long de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ; et de tenir une documentation minutieuse de toutes les activités afin de garantir la traçabilité et de fournir la preuve de la conformité aux réglementations de l’UE.
Contexte
Le Système d’alerte rapide pour les denrées alimentaires et les aliments pour animaux (RASFF) a été mis en place pour permettre aux autorités européennes chargées de la sécurité alimentaire d’échanger rapidement des informations sur les risques sanitaires liés aux denrées alimentaires ou aux aliments pour animaux, afin qu’elles puissent prendre des mesures immédiates pour prévenir ces risques. Le RASFF assure un service 24 heures sur 24 afin de garantir que les notifications urgentes soient envoyées, reçues et traitées de manière collective et efficace. Les informations échangées via le RASFF peuvent conduire au retrait de produits du marché de l’UE, permettant ainsi d’écarter les risques avant qu’ils ne puissent causer de préjudice, de la ferme à l’assiette.
La Commission européenne doit informer les pays tiers lorsqu’un produit exporté fait l’objet d’une notification, afin que les autorités et les exportateurs de ces pays puissent prendre des mesures correctives.
La base juridique du RASFF est définie à l’article 50 de la législation alimentaire générale de l’UE (règlement n° 178/2002).
