What is changing?
The European Union (EU) has increased the representative price – the cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) import price – of certain frozen poultrymeat from Brazil (see Table 1).
Why?
The representative import prices for these products are changed to reflect price variations in the country of production (Brazil).

The revised representative prices apply from 29 October 2025.
Background
Regulation 1484/95 sets a “representative price” or “trigger price” for poultrymeat and egg products imported into the EU. This is the cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) price based on world market prices. Where the import price falls significantly below the trigger price (at least 10% difference between import and trigger prices), additional import duties can be applied. The level of duty depends on the amount of difference between the two prices (Regulation 1484/95, Art. 4).
