This webinar offers practical guidance on the new EU packaging waste rules being phased in from August 2026

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation 2025/40 (PPWR) sets new rules for all packaging placed on the European Union (EU) market, including for packaged agri-food and fish products exported from non-EU countries.

The PPWR has applied since 12 August 2026, and most requirements will apply gradually until 2040.

All packaging must now be accompanied by two documents: technical documentation (Annex VII) and a declaration of conformity (Annex VIII). These documents must show that the packaging meets the PPWR requirements that now apply.
