What is changing?
The changes to flutriafol MRLs are set out in Table 1.
Why?

Timeline
New MRLs will apply from 14 September 2023.
Recommended Actions
- Suppliers of melons, watermelons and pumpkins to the EU market may choose to review their good agricultural practices in relation to the use of flutriafol in light of the EU’s proposed adoption of an import tolerance MRL.
- Suppliers of rice to the EU market should review current use of flutriafol and seek alternative substances or solutions.
Background
MRLs are set in accordance with the rules set out in Regulation 396/2005. For information on current MRLs for other substances, please consult the EU Pesticide Residues database.
