EU increases MRLs for bixafen on roots and tubers, pulses, cereals and oilseeds

Update
On 2 June 2023 the EU published a Regulation increasing the MRL for bixafen on root and tuber vegetables, pulses, cereals and oilseeds.

What is changing?
The EU has increased the MRLs for bixafen as summarised in Table 1.
Why?
New Codex MRLs (CXLs) for bixafen have been adopted. EFSA (2022) has not identified a consumer health risk for these CXLs, so they have been adopted as EU MRLs.
Timeline
The new EU MRLs for bixafen will apply from 22 June 2023.
