This AGRINFO webinar explains how to use TRACES and CATCH.

TRACES, the European Union (EU) online platform for sanitary and phytosanitary certification, now hosts modules across several EU policy areas.

CATCH is the module within TRACES on fisheries control. The CATCH module uses this shared digital environment to process the catch certificate and related legal documentation required under the EU Regulation on illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Since 10 January 2026, use of CATCH is compulsory for EU importers and Member State competent authorities.

This webinar provides companies and competent authorities operating in the fisheries sector with practical guidance on using TRACES, and CATCH within TRACES.

  • CATCH module – the EU digital system implementing the catch certification scheme of the IUU Regulation
