On 2 June 2023 the EU published a Regulation increasing the MRLs for fenhexamid on pears, asparagus and bulb vegetables.

What is changing?

The EU has increased the MRLs for fenhexamid as summarised in Table 1.

Why?

New Codex MRLs (CXLs) for fenhexamid have been adopted. EFSA (2022) has not identified a consumer health risk for these CXLs, so they have been adopted as EU MRLs.

Timeline

The new EU MRLs for fenhexamid will apply from 22 June 2023.
